The Ruhl & Ruhl Half Marathon

Half the Distance of the Marathon and you'll still receive an "Awesome Finishers Medal".
Do you want to participate in the Midwest's favorite marathon but aren't up for the full distance? Participate in the half marathon; THE Quad Cities Marathon fastest growing event. With the same start and finish as the Marathon, this 13.1 mile race features all the bridges and spectacular views of the marathon route with lots of Entertainment and Support.
New this year, the top three male and female overall finishers receive cash awards. Also new this year is a special cash award for the first local male and local female finisher. (Local finishers must be from Scott, Muscatine, Rock Island, Henry or Mercer Counties)
Awards will also be given to the top three finishers in each of the following age divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. Overall winners not eligible for age division awards.
- $40 early bird registration (through 4/30)
- $45 early registration (4/30 through 9/9)
- $50 registration (9/9 through 9/22)
HALF MARATHON time limit: although there is no official time limit set for this event, we ask that all half marathon participants make every effort to complete the race within 4 hours. Walkers are welcome in this event.
