THE Quad Cities Marathon

Are you ready for the Midwest's favorite marathon? THE Quad Cities Marathon, a USATF certified course is held annually on the fourth Sunday in September. The 26.2 mile run starts and ends in downtown Moline, IL. The event benefits prostate cancer research and helps fund screening. The course captures the essence of our nation's heartland with a consistent connection to the Mississippi River. The views are amazing, the Midwest charm is present and the course is fairly fast. It's a great Boston Marathon qualifier. It covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 island, all along the mighty Mississippi River. The top five male and female finishers receive overall cash awards. The top three male and female finishers in the Masters Division receive cash awards. New this year is a special cash award for the first local male and local female finisher. (Local finishers must be from Scott, Muscatine, Rock Island, Henry or Mercer Counties)
Awards also to the top three finishers in each of the following age divisions: 24 and under, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. Cash award winners are not eligible for age division awards.

Please note: Marathon time limit is 6.5 hours (2 PM) or a 16 minute/mile pace. Due to the security and volunteers involved on RIA Military Installation, we must adhere to this time line. Once off the island (approximately mile 20) you are free to slow your pace down even more.
- $70 early bird registration (through 4/30)
- $75 early registration (4/30 through 9/9)
- $80 registration (9/9 through 9/22
