Military Discount

THE Quad Cities Marathon would like to extend its thanks to active duty and reserve military members of all branches of the U.S. military by offering a 50% discount to those currently serving our country during the 15th anniversary of the Quad Cities Marathon.

For most of the QCM's existence we have been at war against world-wide terrorism. Locally we have seen many sad and unfortunate instances of loss and grief. "As founder and race director of the event, I believe it's imperative we celebrate this milestone with a fitting tribute and salute to our men and women in uniform today. At the starting line on Sunday, September 23rd at 7:30 AM, we will honor you with a heartfelt appreciation. Thank You for your service to our country. You have been tremendous supporters and an integral part of the Quad Cities Marathon's success since its inception," says Joe Moreno.

Military discount details:

You are eligible for the 50% discount if you are member of one of the following: Active duty military, National Guard, or Reserves.
Applies to individuals in any adult event, even individuals on a relay team.
Paper (hard copy) application forms must be used, no 'on-line' entries will be accepted for the discount.Click here to download race application
The entry form must be accompanied with a photocopy of your current military photo ID card (for verification purposes only, confidentiality will be respected).
