Let’s train together.

Training for your first race? Trying to achieve a PR? Looking for accountability? No matter where you are in your running journey, we want you to achieve your goal during the month long virtual race. Training for your race is important, and the Quad Cities’ local running clubs have training programs designed to support you during your training for this year’s unique experience. We recommend two local training programs. Read the details to decide what’s right for you!

Fleet Feet Marathon/Half Marathon Training Program

Registration includes:

  • Certified coaching every step of the way from Dr. Chris Schwartz

  • A comprehensive 7-day-a-week training plan 

  • Program meetups: Tuesday Nights at 6:00 PM for Speed training and Saturday Long Runs at 7:00 AM.

  • Weekly inspirational emails

  • Nutrition + hydration guidance

  • Strength training and flexibility resources

  • Demo Shoe Nights are available from our brand partners

  • Nutrition and hydration samples available for Saturday Long Run Days

  • Instructional videos to support your progress

Cornbelt Running Club’s
Marathon/Half Marathon Fall Training Program

- 16-week program beginning first Sunday of June, join anytime
- Cornbelt Running Club members receive a 20% discount on their gear needs at Running Wild
- All abilities welcome
- Supervised by Coach Russ Hart and experienced marathoners
- General and personalized training advice provided
- Group training tee/tank
- Weekly supported long runs, track workouts, training schedules and more
